Geoffrey Velazco
What was your life like before you received the COVID-19 vaccine?
For 15 years, I had Small fiber neuropathy. My pain levels stayed in a pain range from 1 to 5. That channel was the same all that time. And, my pain was located only in my lower extremities. Although there were rough times, I could live and work. Life was fine. I always felt grateful and knew that other people had it worse than me.
Describe the symptoms and the timeline of the reaction.
Approximately 6 weeks post second shot, my pain exploded almost overnight. The intensity was unlike anything I have ever experieced before. Worse for me was that it was body wide. There isn't a part of my body that is spared. My teeth now ache and are super sensitive(pain) to cold drinks.
Now, I am having to go on disability because I cannot work. Most of my brain is focused on the pain and not work. My neuropathy is burning. Intense bilateral burning. The tinitus also started sometime around then too.
Describe the solutions that helped your symptoms
The only things that help are:
Sleep: I am in no pain when I sleep and for the first hour when I wake. During that time, I feel my nerves also waking and the horror begins.
Cardio exercise: I get a lot of pain relief from it. For example, if I am at pain level 5 before, I can be at lever 2 afterwards. This pain reduction can last a few hours.
Sauna: probably for the same reason as exercise, I get the same effect in pain reduction. Increase circulation like exercise.
I am going to try IVIG. My doctor is go.
Lastly, I am looking at a spinal cord stimulator even though it can only help part of my body. But at this point, that would be a big relief
Which solutions were not helpful?
I am just not sure about the meds and supplements. I have tried them all and I am still trying new ones.
I am hoping dosages of Gabapentin and Nortriptyline as well.
So far, nothing has really made enough of a difference for me to say " wow".
What would you like others to know?
This is real. This is not made up and is deadly serious. This pain is impossible to describe. While I would not have gotten the vax had I known( and there should have been informed consent), I find it unconscionable to be pushing this on children who are not in danger from COVID anyway. In my view, it's the biggest unreported scandal. By now, there must be children with serious adverse reactions. Why are we not hearing of all of this? Why are doctors so reluctant to talk about it? Where are the hearings? What about contacting Rand Paul who has been skeptical about this?
