What was your life like before you received the COVID-19 vaccine?

Never sick. Active. Could do physical activities no problem. Had anxiety but my medicine controlled it well. Slept through the night without having to get up to go to the bathroom. Never missed any periods. I was healthy as far as I know.

Describe the symptoms and the timeline of the reaction.

The night after my second Pfizer dose, September 30, 2021, chest pain woke me around 2am. Had chest pain for hours while resting in bed. Which, they stopped about an hour before I came into work at 8am. I mentioned it to a coworker. Since I work at a healthcare clinic, a nurse checked my blood pressure and listened to my heart. Said I was fine.

Since October I haven’t been able to sleep through the night without having to go urinate. I’ve missed periods.

July 17 2022, I fainted after standing up. My mother witnessed the incident and called the ambulance. She said I was pale with blue lips. I was drenched in sweat and my ears ringing. Extremely disoriented. I fought to stay alert for about 30 minutes after my fainting incident happened. Went to the ER and they referred me to a cardiologist.

Saw the Cardiologist, she then sent me to have an echocardiogram, wear a holter monitor, and they did an echo for my vessels in my neck.

Had my follow up appointment today with my cardiologist. Echo looks normal but my pvc burden was %10. She’s sending me to an Electrophysiologist now. She mentioned ablation for my pvcs. I asked what caused them but she does not know. She is saying that the electrophysiologist can look and see where they are coming from. Advised to not exercise, drink, or smoke. I already stay away from caffeine and only drink water.

Just walking around not knowing when or if I will drop again. Taking each day at a time.

Describe the solutions that helped your symptoms

Have no solutions as of today. I stay away from exercise and stay away from drinking a few beers on the weekends like I used to. Haven’t passed out since I have stopped those two things but my pvc burden is still high.

What would you like others to know?

You’re not alone. Try to find distractions if you’re waiting on treatment to get through the waiting process. Worrying doesn’t help. I try to watch movies or focus on painting/drawing because that’s a hobby of mine. The best thing you can do is try to relax.. at least for me. I like to take baths and I don’t have a limit on how many. Stay away from foods or drinks that cause any symptoms you have. Be honest with your doctor. I avoided bringing up the vaccines on purpose because I wanted them to take me seriously. You never know what the doctors views are and they can easily dismiss you if you bring up the vaccines. If you feel like crying, let yourself cry. Let it out. But after that, focus on the reasons why you want to stay here. Spending time with family and appreciating life. I always say prepare for the worst but hope for the best.
