Debby Geist-Lyons

What was your life like before you received the COVID-19 vaccine?

Relatively healthy other than some osteoarthritis and degenerative disc disease. But walked 3 miles a day. Worked full time and active with grandchildren and family. Very happy with my life.

Describe the symptoms and the timeline of the reaction.

Sudden onset rapid heartbeat, dizziness, palpitations, and feeling faint. Felt like I was having a stroke. I was taken to emergency room and they said I had an irregular EKG. Had echo and many tests and kept in the telemetry unit inpatient for 3 days because of irregular heartbeat and feeling like I'm dying. Eventually discharged with no diagnosis.

By September I had lost my hearing. Severe tinnitus in both ears. Ended up having to get hearing aides. Tinnitus is still unresolved a year later. Now have lost muscle control and experience severe balance issues.

Had a repeat echo in September 2022 and now in phase 1 heart failure.

Describe the solutions that helped your symptoms

I take PT to try to regain balance and strength. Eating healthy and taking lots of vitamins to try to flush my system of toxins Take prednisone 5mg daily to reduce the inflammation Got hearing aides to fight the tinnitus and dizziness

Which solutions were not helpful?

Only the PT seems to be helpful at all.
