What was your life like before you received the COVID-19 vaccine?
Extremely active. I traveled constantly to work as a tattooer, I was hiking 6 miles a day AND climbing AND working. I was physically fit, and managing a 12 year long hitherto undiagnosed autoimmune (possibly activated after a viral infection).
I was a happy, functioning, delightful individual living my dream.
Describe the symptoms and the timeline of the reaction.
Almost immediately after the vaccine, around 2 hours. Blurry vision in my left eye, tinnitus, dizziness, trouble moving the muscles in my eyes, couldn’t sleep, head fullness and pressure, rapid heart rate/adrenaline spikes while resting, horrible nerve pain, feeling of grittiness in eyelids and throat, trouble reading/visual patterns, memory issues.
Describe the solutions that helped your symptoms
No one has taken me seriously at all, so I’ve tried to self treat with the continuation of an anti inflammatory diet, fasting, two Zyrtec a day and low dose prednisone to try to calm my immune system which helped a lot over time (although it’s almost impossible now, since I’ve been in this therapy for almost a year to get the prednisone prescribed).
Whenever I try to tape off the prednisone I relapse horribly.
Which solutions were not helpful?
So far, I’ve been in the ER multiple times but have been gaslit and I can’t even get to see specialists since they’re so booked.
What would you like others to know?
This is real and people are suffering. It ruined my life and because it’s been politicized there has been no help and to have politicians and their agendas adversely effect they due diligence of science is appalling.
