Vaccine Injury of Morgan

What was your life like before you received the COVID-19 vaccine?

I was a happily married Mom of two and working full time. I felt like I was coming into the best time of my life. We had fun, we did anything we wanted. We were a happy family. We had just moved and I was an active, capable, fun, loving person. My life was beautiful.

Describe the symptoms and the timeline of the reaction.

I was starting a new job and was required to get the vaccine. I truly didn't want to and previously had a religious exemption at my other job. But because of the need for money to support our family, we decided I would get just the required two doses. Fast forward to the day I received the first dose (December 1st, 2022) and within a week I started experiencing episodes of feeling like I was going to fall or pass out. Never had felt anything like it. But they were so brief, maybe 2 or 3 seconds, that I didn't really put two and two together or think it was anything major. It began to happen more frequently over the months. I started going to my doctor in January and I was initially told anxiety was the culprit. But I knew better. I've had anxiety all of my life, since I was a small child. I knew something sinister was going on. I kept going back to the doctor over several months time and was first sent to cardiology with all normal testing, then neurology with all normal testing yet again. Following those visits, I was sent to rheumatology and still had no answers. I was told you have fibromyalgia or something and you need to see pain management. But I wasn't in pain. Finally, come August 2023 I had several episodes of feeling like I was going to pass out at work and even on my drive home. I immediately contacted my doctor and told him that I could not return to work until something was figured out about what was happening to me. I was given a medical leave of absence and this lasted for 6 months. When I quit working and keeping a normal life schedule, although it was hard to work, the symptoms started to pile up. I started to have weakness in my legs, I felt intense pressure in my head, I had extreme bloating, lightheadedness, intense anxiety, tingling in my body, shaking, shortness of breath, palpitations and more. I could hardly move except for from the couch or bed to the bathroom. And yet every doctor I saw said nothing was wrong with me. Finally come January of 2024 I was diagnosed with postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome. I started to get some holistic treatment from a functional neurologist which was entirely out of pocket and we spent approximately $9,000. I was given a letter to return to work with accommodations and only 20 hours per week but they would not accept this and released me from my position.

Describe the solutions that helped your symptoms
