Melanie Morrow

What was your life like before you received the COVID-19 vaccine?

I was extremely healthy and active.

Describe the symptoms and the timeline of the reaction.

The first four weeks was the hardest. 12 hrs after the vaccine I had pain in my spine which felt like an epidural. My back was sore the next 2 days. On day 2 post vaccine I started to get tingling in my feet and hands. I woke up on day three and my legs felt tired and fatigued. Two weeks later I got sensory disturbances in my thighs, knee joint pain, tired arms, shin pain, and calf tightness. I also got tinnitus. Most things have slowly dissipated except for the fatigued limbs and low tinnitus.

Describe the solutions that helped your symptoms

Prozac

Which solutions were not helpful?

I was put on progesterone and it made me feel worse.

What would you like others to know?

I have felt like I have healed but have lingering symptoms. I went to the ER twice. Saw many doctors, done lots of blood work. I got and emg and multiple MRIs. The only thing that came back slightly elevated was my D dimer a month post vaccine. I checked the d dimer again a year later and it was normal. No one knows what happened to me.
