I have had covid-19 back in March of 2020 as well as 3 Moderna vaccines. 3/4/21, 4/1/21 & 11/421.

On April 7th 2022 I was at work when I felt a hot intense burning sensation go down my right leg. Shortly after my leg started to feel pins and needles then went to numb. We called 911, all my vitals checked out well. I went to emergency. Waiting to be seen I started to feel the same burning sensation travel across my pelvic/torso area and down my left leg. Shortly after I was numb from my pelvic area down.

They sent me in for an MRI and admitted me to ICU with a slight infection in my spinal fluid. They started treatment right away with steroids and antibiotics. I was able to move my feet and lift my leg with a lot of effort, but completely numb. I could not walk or stand on my own. After 5 days of steroids, a few more MRI's, CT Scan and lumbar puncture and little to no improvement, they then started me on a 3 day treatment of IVIG. I spent 20 days in ICU, with little improvement and no diagnosis. They treated me for GBS & Transverse Myelitis even thought I didn't test positive for them.

After 20 many days in the hospital, 7 days of a lumbar puncture headache, constipation from pain med's and lot of tests I was still not able to walk without a walker. I was transported to a rehab facility for a week. With a lot of intense PT and OT I was able to get much stronger with the walker. I was sent home with a walker, Gabapentin and continued PT and OT at home for 30 days. I worked really hard to get my core strong and balance back. I was able to get rid of the walker and only use a cane.

This all started on April 7th 2022, I'm still suffering greatly from the torso down with numbness, tingling, burning, internal vibrations, muscle twitching and inflammation. The pain and discomfort is constant, never goes away or stops. Sleeping at night is difficult as my legs do not rest. My Doctor's now are just scratching their heads.
