What was your life like before you received the COVID-19 vaccine?

I was working in a daycare and was hoping to return to college someday. I exercised regularly 5 days a week. My view of the future was somewhat uncertain but leaning towards optimistic.

Describe the symptoms and the timeline of the reaction.

The symptoms came out of nowhere on the night of May 20, 2021. I felt great pain in my chest like if was compressing. my heart was beating fast. I also felt dizzy and light-headed. I noticed that I had a hard time remembering things and it was hard for me to talk as I struggled or couldn't find the right words to use, so it can sometimes appear that I'm stuttering. I've lost my sense of balance, and sometimes (especially in the morning) I notice that I'm leaning to my right side when I stand up or walk. My heart would sometimes beat fast even when I'm not exercising. Every one in a while I feel a pain somewhere in my head that come and goes. I used to also have this weird feeling in the back of my head that felt like I had a weight there. I wasn't able to drive my car for the first month since my symptoms, and I wasn't able to exercise the way I used to without being completely out of breath. My symptoms has affected my sleep as well. I can no longer sleep on my back without experiencing sleep paralysis, and so I've been sleeping on my sides ever since. I'm in constant fatigue, both mentally and physically. Because of my memory problems, I have to right things down such as things I need to do because I might end up forgetting about them. It was also difficult for me to

read since I would forget things easily. Sometimes doing even the most minor of things can feel like a big excursion of energy. The chest pain only lasted for a few days, and now I'm able to drive my car. I've also been able to exercise much more properly than before. I'm also able to read things and retain much of what I've learned However, I still have all the other symptoms to this day.

Describe the solutions that helped your symptoms

Someone that my mother knows who had similar problems as me told us about how she similar head problems, but when she began drinking something called Herbalife Niteworks, her head problems disappeared overnight. She gave me a case of the stuff to use for myself, and while I still have head problems (among the other problems I've mentioned before), I have so far noticed considerable improvements with how my head feels. Most notably, I don't really have that weight feeling in the back of my head anymore. I'm not sure if it can be attributed to the Herbalife, but I've also noticed that some of my symptoms started to get a little better a couple of months after my symptoms began. I have recently began doing intermittent fasting and have been taking herbal supplements such as rhodiola. As this is recent, I can't really say anything for sure about their effectiveness with helping my symptoms.

Which solutions were not helpful?

I was diagnosed with anxiety after I did some tests such as EEG and MRI brain scans and nothing out of the ordinary showed up in the results, and was prescribed bupropion. I have been taking this medication for months now and I haven't really felt any noticeable improvements. I have recently switched to using rhodiola instead. I think I notice feeling more calm with it.

What would you like others to know?

I had COVID with no symptoms a month before getting my second dose of the Moderna COVID vaccine. I was told that I should get my second vaccine dose even though I already got infected with COVID.
